In East Khanid Trading, we aim to provide our Producers with all of the tools, training, and procedures to make their production activities hassle-free, efficient, and profitable. As part of this aim, we provide some simple systems which give our producers a steady supply of reasonably priced minerals, orders for goods, and some easy avenues for additional profit making. We aim to keep our producers busy and producing, making a profit on every order. We also will be providing an online and in-game shop front to allow us to expose our production capabilities in a controlled and united way. For the Production department, the well-defined internal industrial supply chain provides the framework for the Producers to maximise their profits and through-put. Our miners are constantly providing a fresh influx of minerals into the corp, and these are available to our producers to build from. Our web and in-game browser ordering system will allow specific orders to be placed, but also serves as a way for our Production and Trade members to ensure that they are not under-cutting eachother in the same market! In addition, there are prices for corp members personal use, wholesale prices (for re-sale by our traders) and retail prices (for sale on the market in the Khanid region). This allows all of our corp members to obtain ships and equipment for their own personal use at low prices, and allows our Traders to share in the profits by mass-marketing our Producers' goods in other regions and stations. As a Producer, if you want to make as much ISK as possible by achieving a high-level of ordering, you'll soon see the benefit of having a trade department buying from you regularly, even if at a slightly lower price! It's how wholesalers work in RL, and it works in EVE too! Managing the prices is not something the average Producer needs to worry about too much - though of course their input and suggestions are all taken very seriously! Keeping track of the prices is easy though - our internal ordering system and marketplace tracks all of these for us and provides a simple interface for looking things up, making calculations, etc. Essentially, as a Producer you can build stuff for yourself to sell, you can build stuff to fulfill orders that come in through our ordering system, you can build stuff for other corp members, and you can build stuff for our traders to mass-market in other areas. And in all of these cases, you will make a profit! There are some other avenues for making a profit too... the corp will need things built from time-to-time too. This gets done through the corp issuing a production contract - essentially you are provided with the BPC and the minerals, you build it, and the corp pays you some kind of reward. We will also have BPO Investment funds working at some stage in the future where this system will really take off - basically we want to help you make money when you help the corp make money! As far as access to blueprints is concerned, the corp has a number of BPO's and BPC's. If you, as a producer, need to build something that we have a BPO or BPC for, you can request the BPC, or a copy of the BPO, and we will make one for you. The cost to you is basically the cost of producing the BPC, so it's an easy way for our producers to get access to a wide number of different blueprints at low cost to themselves. You might be wondering how EKT benefits from all of this, since so far no mention has been made of doing stuff for the corp for free, or tax, or anything along those lines. Well, in other corps this can be quite a hassle depending on how they try to implement taxation, or demand that stuff be built for the corp for free, etc. etc. etc. In EKT, our system is quite simple. You simply pay approximately 1% more for the minerals than the miners sell them to the corp for. So if the miners sell Trit to the corp at 2.40 ISK per unit, you buy from the corp at 2.42 ISK per unit. This is easy to calculate too, by the way, since we have an online mineral calculator available both in-game and through the normal web-browser which will help you to easily calculate the cost in minerals for any item that you want to build! Any profit you make on your items after that is yours to keep! Essentially, our Production department is well thought-out, and we aim to make being a Producer in EKT as profitable and as easy as possible for our members. So if you're a Producer looking for a new home where the corp has a good industrial supply chain in place, has a good supply of minerals readily available, and has several outlets for your goods to enable you to make a quick turnover of stock and so maximise your profits, then East Khanid Trading is looking for people just like you!
