Hey all, how have you been. I thought I would rop by and see how things are going.

I took a leave from EVE back in late January, when i got into open beta with STO. Got involved with a fleet (guild), enjoy the ship combat, and resubbed for another 6 months.

I'm also waiting for EVE "walk in stations". As soon as that hits, I'll resub here! Mony is kind of tight right now, and I just can't swing two subs at one time anymore.

yeah, I tried it too, and came to the conclusion I'm happier here. I'm Bobx@BoBxSTO. I hear it's "so boring" once you hit Admiral. with no further progression available yet. I think I'll go back in a month or so.
maybe they won't have to have 200mb patches 4 days a week.

The patches have slowed down a bit, and they are adding content in a few days....mostly some high end stuff.

The game is coming along pretty well, and I think they (Cryptic) are actually responding to what the player base is asking for. They put out a survey, and the results of that survey are actually reflected in the first patch. I've not seen that in an MMO before.

Never fear, I'm keeping an eye on EVE as well. Once they get walk in stations, I'll break from STO and pay EVE a visit.

while I was playing I noticed a lot of players used to be WoW players.
strange to have a jump in genre, but, what do I know? Another player said that WoW was really bad for the first months with several of the servers not available at all. so, it's not too bad I guess.
